The National Task Force on Crime Prevention (NTFCP) will this month conduct a national survey to measure public opinion and knowledge of crime and criminal justice agencies.
For approximately five weeks, this agency, through the Office of the Attorney General, will be examining the views and attitudes of the Barbadian population on crime, punishment and other matters of national interest.
NTFCP interviewers wearing identification badges will begin random face-to-face interviews with residents across the island from May 10, 2008.
An interviewer knocking on a person’s door will show an identification card bearing the name, Office of the Attorney General and will ask the household to select one member, 18 years or older, for the interview.
The NTFCP appreciates the public’s cooperation in this “very important” survey, where all answers will be confidential and no individual will be identifiable in the research.
