This country’s Attorney General, Adriel Brathwaite, was today elevated to the Inner Bar in a short ceremony at the Supreme Court before Chief Justice, Marston Gibson.
Patterson Cheltenham, QC, who made the introductory remarks before a gathering that included Judges of the Court of Appeal, the High Court, and family and friends of the Attorney General, lauded Mr. Brathwaite for his sterling contribution to the legal profession.
Mr. Brathwaite has been a practising attorney-at-law for some 25 years, having been called to the local Bar in October, 1987.
