Attorney General Adriel Brathwaite met with the new United States (US) Ambassador Linda Taglialatela recently at his Wildey, St. Michael office.
During the meeting the two officials discussed areas of mutual interest including matters related to security and the implementation of legislation.
They also spoke about the need for initiatives to assist at risk youth and ways that the US Embassy and the Office of the Attorney General could work together to implement programmes to assist young persons.
The US and Barbados established diplomatic relations in 1966.
