The Barbados Accreditation Council (BAC) is hosting an Open Day on Friday, November 16, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in National Heroes’ Square, Bridgetown.

The public is invited to participate and learn more about topics such as: The role and importance of the Barbados Accreditation Council; the dangers of educational fraud; and working in CARICOM countries.

Persons will also have an opportunity to sign up for courses offered by educational providers that are registered by the BAC.  Additionally, service providers will be offering complimentary manicures, pedicures, eyebrow shaping and much more. There will also be a presentation by the Ministry of Health on bed bugs.

Visitors to the Open Day will receive free blood pressure and blood sugar checks as well as free breast screenings provided by the American University of Barbados and the Barbados Cancer Society’s Mobile Unit.  There will also be giveaways.
