Farmers in the north of the island will get the opportunity to display their produce when the Barbados Agricultural Development and Marketing Corporation hosts a "Northern Farmers Market & Fair", this Saturday, October 10, at Mahaica Playing Field, Speightstown.?? It will run from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Members of the public are invited to partake in breakfast from 7:00 to 11:00 a.m. as well as purchase a wide array of vegetables, fruit, organic materials and plants.
There will be health clinics, dance classes, pedicures, manicures and facials for adults, while jumping tents, face painting, lucky dips, video games and pony rides will be available for children.
A cultural show beginning at 5:00 p.m. will bring the event to a close. ????
