The public is invited to participate in this month’s Southern Farmers market to be held by the Barbados Agricultural Development and Marketing Corporation.
It will take place at the Fairy Valley Plantation House, next to the DHL Building, Christ Church, on Friday, June 28 and Saturday, June 29.??
The farmer’s market will allow patrons to purchase fresh fruits and vegetables, a variety of meat and fish, fresh milk and eggs, plants and flowers as well as other locally produced items such as wines, natural juices, jams, oils, tamarind balls and more.??
There will also be blood pressure and blood sugar checks by the Knight’s Health Advantage Club, a play area for children, as well as an educational programme and tour for students.??
Karaoke and music, will be provided by a popular deejay.

There is no admission fee to the Southern Farmers Market.
