The public is invited to support local farmers at the Barbados Agricultural Development and Marketing Corporation???s next Southern Farmers??? Market.

It will take place at the Fairy Valley Plantation House, next to the DHL Building, Christ Church, on Friday, November 28, and Saturday, November 29, from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Patrons will have the opportunity to purchase a variety of meats, including turkey wings, beef, minced meat, duck and rabbit, along with fresh meats like Black Belly lamb, local beef, pork and chicken.

There will also be fresh eggs, fish, milk, and Carmeta???s products like beef burgers, lamb and beef sausages, cassava chunks, grated cassava and sweet potato and breadfruit flours. Locally-produced wines, natural juices, jams, oils, tamarind balls and more, will also be on sale.

The public will also be treated with blood pressure and blood sugar checks by Pharma Wellness International, as well as music from a popular deejay and a tuk band.

To celebrate Independence, patrons can enjoy 100% Bajan food on sale, including conkies, black pudding and souse, rice and stew, fish cakes, bakes and much more.
