The Barbados Agricultural Development and Marketing Corporation is inviting everyone to support local farmers, at its next Southern Farmers??? Market.
It will take place at the Fairy Valley Plantation House, next to the DHL Building, Christ Church, on Friday, September 25, and Saturday, September 26, from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. each day.
On Friday, September 25, patrons will have the opportunity to take advantage of the new plant clinic being held in conjunction with the Plan Pathology Unit, as well as purchase fruit trees being sold by the Soil Conservation Unit of the Ministry of Agriculture.
There will also be great prices on fresh meats, local fresh vegetables, herbs and fruit and Carmeta???s products. ??All farmers and vendors who are interested in participating in the market are asked to call Coralyn Benn, or Extension Officer, Ann Griffith, at 428-0252, as soon as possible.
