The Barbados Association of Guidance Counsellors (BAGC) will officially launch its Eighth National Career Showcase this Thursday, February 7, at the Three Ws Oval, UWI, Cave Hill Campus, St. Michael, beginning at 2:00 p.m.
A representative from the Caribbean Development Bank will be the featured speaker, while President of BAGC and Guidance Counsellor at The Darryl Jordan Secondary School will also address the launch.??
The National Career Showcase will be held at the Gymnasium, Garfield Sobers Sports Complex, Wildey, St. Michael from Thursday, February 14, to Friday, February 15, for third and fifth-year students in all public and private secondary schools.??
It is expected to attract over 100 booths highlighting traditional and non-traditional careers with the aim of ensuring students are given the best chance to broaden their scope as they plan for future careers.
