The Ministry of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation will host a delegation from the Ministry of Education of The Bahamas, headed by Minister of Education, Jeffrey L. Lloyd, from Tuesday, December 5, to Wednesday, December 6.
Mr. Lloyd and his contingent will examine Barbados’ nursery education system during the visit.
On Tuesday, December 5, he will meet with Minister of Education, Ronald Jones, and other education officials at the Ministry’s headquarters, Elsie Payne Complex, Constitution Road, St. Michael, at 9:30 a.m.
After that meeting, the Bahamian Minister and Parliamentary Secretary in the Ministry of Education, Senator Harcourt Husbands, will tour the Erdiston Nursery, Pine Road, St. Michael at 10:45 a.m.; the Maria Holder Nursery School, Gall Hill, Christ Church, at 1:30 p.m.; and the Maria Holder Nursery School, Oldbury, St. Philip, at 2:30 p.m.
The following day, Wednesday, December 6, Mr. Lloyd and Mr. Jones will tour All Saints Nursery at Pleasant Hall, St. Peter, at 1:00 p.m.; and St. Boniface Nursery School, Sion Hill Road, Sion Hill, St. James, at 2:00 p.m.
