Jubilee Gardens will be the venue for the sights and sounds of ???Barbadiana’, when events to celebrate Tourism Week 2010 culminate this Saturday with its Bajan Pride Expo.

The event, which highlights the works and talents of local artists, will feature various arts and craft, including jewellery, paintings, prints and textiles.?? Face painting for children and traditional Bajan fare, such as souse and cuckoo, will be some of the attractions for patrons.

Swan Street will ???come alive’ with the Expo Parade, which will feature a tuk band, mother sally, the Belmont School Cheerleaders, Dance Nationale Afrique and Little People Fun and Frolic.?? The parade will travel from Heroes Square to Jubilee Gardens beginning at 1:00 a.m.

The Expo, which will last from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., will also feature live entertainment throughout the day, including music from Blood and Mikey, G Syndicate and drama from Janice Perryman.??????nekaelia.hutchinson@barbados.gov.bb
