Barbadian diplomatic missions across the world will now operate by teleworking, while others have reduced office hours, due to the coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic.

Word of this has come from Deputy Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, Donna Forde. 

The embassy in Brussels, Belgium, has fully shutdown, while the others are following the guidelines of the countries in which they are based.

Teleworking means that staff of the embassies will work remotely using technology, and members of the public are advised to make contact by email.

Persons in need of emergency visas should make online requests, as they will only be issued by appointment.  The embassies may be contacted below:
