The National Committee on Ageing is calling on elderly persons from around the island to share their experiences and recollections of events in Barbados from independence to the present.
The information will be used to educate and inform Barbadians about the historical importance of Barbadian culture, while highlighting the development of the country and memorable aspects of its history.
Persons interested in making a contribution are asked to telephone the National Committee on Ageing at 426-3131, extension 227 or 265-2193. The deadline for submissions is Saturday, August 30.
