Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, Sen. Maxine McClean
Barbados and Poland are seeking to strengthen their relations.
This was disclosed during a courtesy call today between Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, Senator Maxine McClean and Poland’s Ambassador to Barbados, Krzysztof Jacek Hinz.
The two officials said they saw the need for both countries to collaborate more closely, especially in culture, and looked forward to working towards making the Economic Partnership Agreement a mutually beneficial contract.
They also discussed the global economic crisis, the upcoming Summit of the Americas and Poland’s membership in the European Union.
Barbados and Poland established diplomatic relations on December 13, 1996.
