“Celebrating the Past…Embracing the Future” will be the theme when the Barbados Community College (BCC) hosts its 35th graduation ceremony on Saturday, November 8 at 6:00 p.m at the Gymnasium, Garfield Sobers Sports Complex, Wildey, St. Michael.

The College, which is also celebrating its 40th Anniversary, will confer 950 degrees, diplomas and certificates on graduates. The BCC will also award five post graduate diplomas, 12 bachelor degrees and 43 post associate degree diplomas.

Students graduating with the Associate Degree in Applied Sciences topped the list at 21, while 213 earned the Associate Degree in Arts. Another 210 have gained the Associate Degree in Applied Arts while the Associate Degree in Science was achieved by 77 graduates. A total of 119 persons will receive certificates.

For the bachelor degree category, eight persons received honours, while students completing associate degrees won 31 distinctions and 43 credits.
