The Barbados Community College will hold its 46th Graduation Ceremony on Saturday, November 2, under the theme A Quality Education for Life Long Learning.

During the ceremony, 1126 graduands will be eligible to be conferred with 116 Bachelor Degrees, 29 Post Associate Diplomas, 875 Associate Degrees in the areas of Arts, Science, Applied Arts and Applied Science, Science and Arts; and 106 Community College Certificates.

This year, the first time cohorts of the four-year Bachelor Degree programmes in Nursing and Pharmacy will be graduating.  These programmes commenced in 2015.

The valedictorian for this year’s graduation is Kathy-Ann Holder, who achieved a Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.900.  Ms. Holder will graduate with a Bachelor of Science – Nursing from the Division of Health Sciences.

The featured speaker will be Ann Lady Hewitt. The ceremony will commence at 5:00 p.m. at the Garfield Sobers Sports Complex, Wildey, St. Michael.
