The Barbados Museum and Historical Society will be staging a Health and Wellness Fair tomorrow, Thursday, June 27, to mark National HIV Testing Day on Friday, June 28.

It will take place at the Museum’s Headquarters, The Garrison, St. Michael from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Medical Missionary Richard Farley will give a lecture on the topic: Cholesterol: Hero or Villain, beginning at 12:30 p.m.??

There will be free blood sugar, blood pressure and cholesterol testing by members of the Diabetes Association, recipes available, health related books on display and for sale along with a variety of plants and products.

Patrons will also be able to sample a number of health products, including vegetarian foods and beverages and there will be free giveaways during the day.
