The Barbados Prison Service is seeking to recruit persons for the post of Prison Officer II.
Persons applying for the post of Prison Officer II must be citizens of Barbados or have legal residency and be between the ages of 18 and 45. They must also possess a minimum of three CSECs inclusive of English Language.
Applicants should be physically fit, trustworthy, dependable, and have a passion for helping inmates rehabilitate safely and effectively. They must also have a willingness to work on a rotating roster which includes weekends and bank holidays; to work in high-risk situations and an emergency environment as well as the ability to work under pressure, independently and within a tight-knit team.
