In recognition of the 67th anniversary of its first standard of colours presentation, the Barbados Regiment will host a week of activities from Sunday, February 23, to Saturday, February 29.
There will be a service at the St. Paul’s Anglican Church, Bay Street, St. Michael, on Sunday, beginning at 10:30 a.m. Minister of Health and Wellness, Lieutenant Colonel Jeffrey Bostic, will be the specially invited guest.
Some of the events to celebrate the week include a treasure hunt at various Garrison Historic areas on Monday, February 24; a T-10 cricket match on Thursday, February 27, from 4:00 p.m. at Weymouth Playing Field; and a Freedom of the City March on Saturday, February 29, from 10:30 a.m., starting at Pelican Village.
