Over 100 entrepreneurs and policy makers from four territories will converge in Barbados tomorrow, Thursday, September 24, for the Caribbean Youth Entrepreneurship (C-YES) Summit.

Minister of Youth, Stephen Lashley, will deliver the feature address at the summit???s opening ceremony, which will be held at the Courtyard by Marriott, Hastings, Christ Church, at 9:00 a.m.

That same day at 7:00 p.m., Acting Minister of Industry, International Business, Commerce and Small Business Development, Dr. Esther Byer Suckoo, will deliver the feature address at the C-Yes??? Awards Ceremony at Sweetfield Manor, Brittons Hill, St. Michael.

A new platform for entrepreneurs and policymakers to collectively build a better future for business in the region, the C-YES aims to help young Caribbean entrepreneurs build businesses that will enable them to compete on the global stage.

Stakeholders from the youth entrepreneurial sector are expected to share their experiences, strengthen networks and chart a way forward to create a viable ecosystem for young entrepreneurs.
