The Ministry of Health’s Introduction to Basic Food Safety certificate course starts tomorrow, Tuesday, January 25.
The course, which is being staged by the Environment Health Department runs until Friday, January 28.?? It is being held in collaboration with the Barbados Community College and the Pan American Health Organisation at the Ministry’s Training Room, Jemmotts Lane, St. Michael.
The programme was introduced to improve basic training in safe food handling practices and enhance food safety awareness.
The course is one of the training programmes being offered by the department in the upcoming weeks, as it seeks to strengthen and increase training opportunities for Barbados.??
