Over 1500 degrees, diplomas and certificates, in a range of disciplines, will be conferred on the class of 2009, when the Barbados Community College (BCC) holds its 36th graduation ceremony, at the Garfield Sobers Sports Complex, this Saturday, November 14, from 6:00 p.m.

The ceremony, which will be held under the theme "Creating Diverse Paths to Success", will be addressed by the Deputy President of the Senate, Senator Kerryann Ifill.

A total of ??209 students will graduate with the Associate Degree in Arts; 66 with the Associate Degree in Science; 215 with the Associate Degree in Applied Arts; 298 in the Associate Degree in Applied Science and 715 with BCC certificates.

The College will also present six Post Graduate Diplomas; 17 Bachelor Degrees and 69 Post Associate Degree Diplomas from its Higher Degree Programmes. Additionally, a total of 14 Honours; 15 Distinctions and 45 Credits will be conferred on Associate Degrees graduates.
