Newly-elected President of the Barbados Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI), Lalu Vaswani, outlined the association’s activities that are aimed at promoting the local business environment extra-regionally, during a recent meeting at Government Headquarters.
During the meeting with Minister of Finance and Economic Affairs, Christopher Sinckler, the BCCI???s President and the Executive Director, Lisa Gale, discussed a range of issues that would, ultimately, lead to a more efficient business sector and by extension, a stronger economy.??
In turn, the Minister of Finance added: "The changes that we have to make are two-fold – in the public sector and in the private economy – and those are going to take some time to do in the medium term, but there are some things that we can do now…to give confidence to the people of Barbados."??
