When the Barbados Community College (BCC) holds its 37th graduation ceremony this Saturday, November 13, at the Wildey Gymnasium, some 1500 degrees, diplomas and certificates will be conferred on graduands in a range of disciplines.

These include 216 Associate Degrees in Arts; 59 Associate Degrees in Science; 239 Associate Degrees in Applied Arts; 352 in Applied Science and 582 BCC certificates.??

The college will award 10 post graduate diplomas, 16 Bachelor degrees and 61 Post Associate Degree Diplomas from its higher degree programmes.?? Results at this level show that there were two First Class Honours; six Upper Second Class Honours and eight Lower Second Class Honours.

Twenty-one Distinctions and 62 credits will also be bestowed on Associate Degree graduands.

Principal of the BCC, Dr. Gladstone Best will deliver his report on the success of programmes offered at that institution when the ceremony gets under way at 6:00 p.m.

The feature address will be given by entrepreneur and alumnus John Hazzard on the graduation theme "Working Towards Self Actualisation".??jgill@barbados.gov.bb
