The Barbados Community College???s (BCC) annual portfolio season starts this Wednesday, April 22, at the Frank Collymore Hall.

A Season of Portfolio 2015 is a production of the BCC???s Division of Fine Arts, and begins that evening at 8:00 p.m. with an interlude of music entitled: A Taste of Fusion – Morningside Speaks Again!

On Saturday, April 25, and Sunday, April 26, the Theatre Arts group will present Angel In White, written by Anthony Hinkson and adapted and directed by Michelle Cox. The start time is 8:00 p.m.

Angel In White is a sequel to Mr. Hinkson???s 1980s production Teacher Teach ???er. It looks at issues of delinquency, in particular, the behaviours of a group of children in secondary school.

According to Ms. Cox, coordinator of the theatre arts programme, students gave input into the language of the play, allowing it to be more in keeping with today???s youthful jargon.

???It is good to see the work of celebrated playwright Anthony Hinkson back on stage. This is a 100 per cent Barbadian play, and it helps to make us better understand what makes some children tick,??? she remarked.

Members of the public are encouraged to attend, and for a complete list of A Season of Portfolio 2015 events and box offices, persons may visit the BCC???s website at theatrearts@bcc.edu.bb or telephone 426-2858 Ext. 5262.
