The Barbados Cultural Industries Development Authority (BCIDA) is inviting all registered cultural practitioners to take part in its latest P.I.T.C.H. Programme, which provides investment opportunities.

For this year’s programme, BCIDA will invest $10,000 or more in each of two top businesses in the six following cultural and creative sectors: Entertainment, Fashion, Film, Literary Arts, Performing Arts and Visual Art.

To participate, registered cultural practitioners must log on to the website www.cidabarbados.org, go to the “News” tab and fill out the online form above the P.I.T.C.H poster. Interested persons must then upload a pitch deck (which would detail their cultural idea or project) to the BCIDA website.

For more information on how to compile a pitch deck, practitioners may visit the link http://www.cidabarbados.org/News.aspx and click on the hyperlink to download a pitch deck template. The deadline for submission of the form and uploading of the pitch deck is midnight on Friday, January 26.

For more information on the P.I.T.C.H. Programme and the application process, persons may visit the website www.cidabarbados.org, or contact BCIDA’s Business Development Officer, Ramona Grandison, at 621-2700.
