The Barbados Cultural Industries Development Authority (BCIDA), has merged with the National Cultural Foundation (NCF).

Senior Business Development Officer, Andre Hoyte explained that, “To streamline the management of the cultural industries sector, the main functions of BCIDA are being incorporated into the NCF”.

From Monday, April 8, the Office of the Film Commissioner and the Business Development Department will be located at the NCF’s West Terrace Headquarters.

Applications for grant funding and appointment bookings can be made via http://www.cidabarbados.org. Additionally, registration of cultural practitioners will continue at http://www.barbadosartists.bb. Meanwhile, persons interested in film services can still visit http://www.barbadosfilmcommission.org.
