The Morale Welfare and Recreational Committee of the Barbados Defence Force is currently hosting a two-week summer camp for children and pre-teens aimed at equipping them with a range of skills in the future.
The camp, which began on Monday, August 13, will be held at the Main Guard, the Garrison, St. Michael, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., each day.?? It is open to the children of soldiers and BDF civilian employees; however, consideration will be given to other family members.
The activities will culminate with a Sports Day on Thursday, August 23, at the Garrison Savannah commencing at 8:45 a.m. followed by the closing ceremony on Friday, August 24, at the Main Guard the Garrison, St. Michael, starting at 9:30 a.m.
