The Barbados Defence Force (BDF) will convene its second Court Martial on Monday, May 27, at its headquarters, The Garrison, St. Michael.

The accused, Lieutenant Coast Guard, David Harewood, is charged with two counts of communicating with the enemy contrary to section 36 (2) of the Defence Act cap 159; one count of conduct to the prejudice of good order and military discipline contrary to section 75 of the Defence Act cap 159; and one count of neglect to the prejudice of good order and military discipline, contrary to section 75 of the Defence Act cap 159.

The BDF has advised that six seats will be made available to the media and 20 to members of the public who want to attend the Court Martial hearings.
