The Barbados Drug Service (BDS) will hold a panel discussion on the topic "Obesity – Taking Control" on Tuesday, August 25 at the Lloyd Erskine Sandiford Centre.
It will get under way at 7:00 p.m. and will be facilitated by Medical Officer of Health, Dr. Heather Harewood; Dietician, Karen Griffith; Senior Health Promotion Officer (Ag.) Larone Hyland; and Exercise Consultant, Brian Payne.
Prior to the presentation, that is, between 6:00 and 7:00 p.m., the public will be allowed to view displays and discuss therapies used for reducing obesity.
Bus transportation will be provided after the discussion to the Fairchild Street Bus Terminal.
