The Barbados Fire Service (BFS) has a new firefighting tool in its arsenal – Benny the Fire Cat.
Members of the public are encouraged to log on to the Barbados Government Information Service’s YouTube channel, thebgis, or its Facebook page tomorrow, Thursday, July 29, at 6:00 p.m., for the virtual launch of Benny the Fire Cat.
Minister of Home Affairs, Information and Public Affairs, Wilfred Abrahams; Minister of Education, Technological and Vocational Training, Santia Bradshaw; Chief Fire Officer, Errol Maynard; and Acting Chief Media Resource Officer of the Media Resource Department, Burkley Lowe, will be among those addressing the launch.
In addition, persons will have an opportunity to find out more about Benny the Fire Cat during an animated video. All are invited to log on to the virtual launch of Benny the Fire Cat.
