The Barbados Investment and Development Corporation is accepting new applicants for its Incubator facility.

Entrepreneurs who are desirous of accessing on-site business advice and support services for the purpose of accomplishing their business ideas ???in a cost-effective and nurturing environment??? are being urged to apply.

Additionally, companies applying for placement in the Incubator programme must have been in existence for three years or less, and should be registered or incorporated. Owners should have a business plan and be willing to accept mentorship and guidance.

In the BIDC incubator facility, start-up businesses are moulded into economically-viable enterprises with the capacity to create employment and stimulate economic growth. Facilities can accommodate businesses involved in services or light manufacturing.

The Incubator provides business counselling and a range of services to start-up and growing companies to aid their development and sustainability.

In addition, applicants are offered affordable workspaces; access to business intelligence; local telephone, fax machine and photocopying services; computer and printer services with internet access; a fully-equipped conference room and training room; shared lunch rooms; mail box/ Business Address; and building security and parking facilities.

Applications must be submitted on the prescribed form, which may be obtained from the BIDC???s Small Business Centre, Fontabelle, St. Michael, or via the BIDC???s website at www.bidc.org.
