Lighting will be the focus of the final workshop being hosted by the Barbados Investment and Development Corporation (BIDC), in collaboration with the Barbados Cultural Industries Development Authority (BCIDA) and the Barbados Film Commission.

It will be conducted on Saturday, April 21, and Sunday, April 22, at #2 Harbour Industrial Estate, Bridgetown, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. each day.

Aspiring lighting technicians who are keen on improving their techniques and skills in the field are invited to participate in the sessions to be facilitated by experienced Key Grip, Gaffer and Electrician, Roger Moore.

Mr. Moore is the co-owner of Parachute Film Studios, where he manages a service production company throughout the Caribbean. Parachute provides a highly skilled crew in the areas of camera, grip and lighting. Clients have included Amazon Prime, Chump TV, Virgin UK, BBC and Smuggler UK.

His other notable achievements include being trained at Abbey Road Studios, London, in areas of recording, engineering, mastering and electroplating. While working at West Indies Records, Mr. Moore mastered Whitney Houston’s first three albums, as well as those of Stevie Wonder, Jon Bon Jovi, Sting, Coldplay live, and many others.

Participants will be charged a registration fee on arrival at the workshop.
