Small entrepreneurs will receive tips on how to budget and manage their finances, when the Entrepreneurial Development Division of the Barbados Investment and Development Corporation (BIDC), hosts two half-day workshops, next week.

The seminars will take place on Tuesday, October 27, and Wednesday, October 28, at the Bagnall’s Point Gallery, Pelican Industrial Estate, Princess Alice Highway, St. Michael, from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., each day.

Topics to be discussed are: Sales Forecasting and the Development of a Sales Budget; Analysis of Costs by Function and by Behaviour; Preparation of Operating and Cash Budgets to More Effectively Control Business Activity; and The Importance of Financing Choices to the Overall Profitability of the Business.??

There will also be presentations on areas related to Capital Structure Considerations and Critical Capital Budgeting Decisions.
