Companies sponsored and supported by the Barbados Investment and Development Corporation (BIDC) will be participating in this year’s BMEX through a number of initiatives reflecting the theme for BMEX 2018: “Bajan… Fuh Real!”
BMEX comes off at the Lloyd Erskine Sandiford Centre from Friday, May 18, to Monday, May 21.
Using the sub-theme: Barbados to the World, BIDC will seek to bring focus to the world-class quality of goods and services produced by these companies which are either fully or partly sponsored under the BIDC umbrella.
A second sub-theme being employed by the corporation is Healthy Lifestyles, which is in keeping with the national focus on healthy lifestyles. BIDC will be taking a holistic approach to this theme by selecting companies that promote products and services which encompass the healthy living message.
The sponsored exhibitors are: Spa Escentials, Healthy Kinks, Iyaaj, Regal Organic Therapy, Healing Power of Touch, NRG Consultants/Island Fitness, Care Point, O’s Inc., Caribbean Institute of Nutrition and Dietetics, Crumbz and Veggie Choices.
In addition to the involvement of sponsored clients, the BIDC will host a series of small discussions throughout the four-day event that will see professionals giving 15-minute talks/features on a variety of topics that will offer insight into excelling in various industries.
