Prime Minister David Thompson??????

When the House of Assembly convenes tomorrow, Tuesday, March 9, Prime Minister David Thompson is expected to move five Resolutions.

He will pilot the First Readings of the Environmental Levy, Income Tax, Charities (Amendment) and National Insurance and Social Security (Amendment) Bills, 2010. He is also slated to move that the House of Assembly grant $12 586 964 to be used for service of the island.

Meanwhile, Deputy Prime Minister, Attorney General and Minister of Home Affairs, Freundel Stuart, will examine the First Reading of the Penal System Reform (Amendment) Bill, 2010. It will make provision for the High Court, the Court of Appeal and the Caribbean Court of Justice to award compensation for personal injury, loss or damage resulting from an offence for which a conviction has been entered and to provide for related matters.
