The Black Rock Polyclinic has been renamed in honour of President of the Senate, Sir Branford Taitt, for his outstanding representation of Barbados regionally and internationally.

The renaming ceremony was held last Saturday. According to Minister of Health, Donville Inniss, the official renaming of the polyclinic signifies the Barbados Government’s commitment to acknowledge, in a meaningful way, the contribution made by Barbadians to the development of the health sector.?? Contributions, he stressed, "Which can never be measured in dollars and cents".

Mr. Inniss attested to Sir Branford’s contribution to public service, in general, and health care in particular, saying: "As a Cabinet Minister, you have served the island in a manner that will be enviable for generations to come".??
