Owners of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) will have the opportunity to learn more about improving their businesses when the Barbados National Standards Institution (BNSI) hosts a workshop on Good Management Practices for SMEs. The session will be held on Monday, February 21, at the Bagnall’s Point Gallery, Pelican Village, St. Michael from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and is targeted at both public and private agencies.?? ??????????????

This collaborative effort between BNSI, the CARICOM Regional Organisation for Standards and Quality (CROSQ) and the Barbados Small Business Association (BSBA), will focus on how the use of technical standards could improve SME competitiveness in the region.??

Participants at the workshop will be introduced to the Standard of Good Management Practice for SMEs, become more knowledgeable about the standards development process and the role of SMEs and learn to use a methodological approach to standards implementation.??

The workshop will be facilitated by CROSQ’s Project Manager, Dr. Michael M. Seepersaud.
