As part of its ongoing effort to educate young Barbadians about HIV and AIDS, the St. John HIV/AIDS Education Committee will be teaming up with the St. John Primary School.
They will host a bonnet parade on Saturday, June 19, from 1:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the Gall Hill Hard Courts in St. John.
The parade will be held under the patronage of Mara Thompson, wife of Prime Minister, David Thompson.
The event, which is being held in collaboration with the Community Development Department, seeks to use creativity to sensitise residents of St. John about the dangers of HIV and AIDS.
