Those persons who use the Oistins Branch Library have been advised that the facility is currently open to facilitate the return of books.
Books will be accepted at the Oistins, Christ Church library until next Tuesday, July 31, between 9:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., and from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 28. According to an official at the National Library Service, books returned after the July 31 deadline will be considered overdue.
The spokesperson stressed that members of the public would not be allowed to borrow books from the Oistins library during this period. She pointed out, however, that library users may visit and borrow books at any of the other branches.
Those persons who require information on the times and hours of other branch libraries should contact 435-3382 or 435-3918.
The management of the National Library Service has apologised for any inconvenience caused by the "current conditions" and "looks forward" to serving customers at the branch of their choice.
