Barbadians will be paying slightly more for Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG).?? Effective midnight, tonight, Thursday, September 16, the retail price of LPG will be increased, in keeping with the landed price of petroleum products.

As a consequence, the 100-pound cylinder will increase by $1.17, moving from $141.13 to the retail price of $142.30, the 25-pound cylinder will be up by 29 cents from $37.87 to $38.16; while the price of the 20-pound cylinder will now be retailed at $30.53 – an increase of 23 cents.

Government has a mechanism in place whereby prices will be adjusted on a monthly basis, by the Ministry of Economic Affairs, on the advice of the Division of Energy.??jwilson@barbados.gov.bb
