Local boxers competing in the upcoming International Amateur Boxing Association (AIBA) World Women Boxing Championships will be ???on show’ when a motorcade is held through the streets of Bridgetown and into some Christ Church districts tomorrow, Saturday, September 4.
It will start at Kensington Oval at 11:00 a.m. and travel through Broad Street, up Bay Street and along the south coast to Oistins, where it will conclude.
Barbadians are encouraged to take a few minutes out to greet the Bajan girls who will be competing in the championships which will be held at the Wildey Gymnasium from next Thursday, September 9, to Saturday, September 18. saustin@barbados.gov.bb
