The Barbados Revenue Authority (BRA) has advised the public that its payment and customer service sections at the Weymouth Corporate Centre, Roebuck Street, St. Michael, will close temporarily to taxpayers, until further notice.

The closure takes effect from Monday, October 5.

According to the BRA’s Manager for Communications and Public Relations, Carolyn Williams-Gayle, the temporary closure is required as the Authority moves to enhance its service delivery centers.

“We are increasing the number of service agents available to assist at our other locations, while allowing the Authority to reorganise to maintain strict protocols in an area with recognised space limitations,” she explained.

She continued: “We also want to remind taxpayers that the payment of land tax can be made online through EZpay+; the Cave Shepherd Mobile app; SurePay online and the online banking platforms for CIBC First Caribbean International Bank and First Citizens Bank. We look forward expanding our suite of online payment options and to providing a much improved customer service experience in the upcoming months.”
