The Bridgetown Fisheries Complex has reopened for business following a thorough sanitisation process.

Last week, the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and the Blue Economy indicated that two persons had tested positive for COVID-19 and urged all those who worked or visited the market to get tested.

It added that because the two persons who tested positive followed the protocols and stayed at home awaiting the results of their tests, others who came forward for testing were negative.

The Ministry emphasises that following the COVID-19 protocols was essential to persons remaining safe during the pandemic. All safety protocols including sanitisation and temperature checking remain in effect at all markets across the island.
