The public is advised that the 2021 Population and Housing Census, which was slated to conclude on Thursday, June 30, will continue throughout the months of July and August.

The extension is required to allow temporary census field workers to list and enumerate areas where households have not yet been visited, in order to obtain complete coverage of the island’s resident population (as at Census Day, 1st August 2021).

Householders are reminded that enumerators will be attired in pink polo shirts branded with the BSS logo, and will carry departmental picture identification cards.

Additionally, COVID-19 protocols will be observed and householders are reminded that the officers will not be entering their homes.

For more information on the Population and Housing Census, persons may visit www.barstats.gov.bb,  or call 535-2600.  The BSS’ 2021 Population and Housing Census is under the theme Our Nation, Our Future, Be Counted.
