The Barbados Statistical Service (BSS) will be conducting a pre-test in three parishes across Barbados as part of its preparations for the 2010 Population and Housing Census.
According to an official from the BSS, the pre-test is designed to assist the department in finalising data collection procedures regarding the issuing of questionnaires and data processing.
Statisticians will be in the field conducting interviews in the districts of Belleview Gap, Station Hill, St. Michael; Mapp Hill and South District, St. George and Crane and Hopeland, in St. Philip.
Members of the public are asked to cooperate with the enumerators as this would assist in the decision-making process.
