The best of Barbados will be on show this summer as the Barbados Tourism Marketing Inc. (BTMI) promotes this country’s summer specials across its source markets, as well as to Barbadians. ⠀
Speaking at a recent media briefing, Minister of Tourism and International Transport, Senator Lisa Cummins, outlined the promotion, dubbed the ‘Sweet Summer Savings Campaign’ and explained to media and industry stakeholders what it would entail.
“The best of Barbados will be on sale and on show through the Barbados Tourism Marketing Inc. Through the Barbados Hotel and Tourism Association and the Intimate Hotels of Barbados, a number of the accommodation sector partners have already submitted their specials and the BTMI is going to be partnering with those agencies to ensure that you get the best bang for the buck by sharing and collaborating,” she revealed.
The new summer campaign, which will put local attractions, restaurants and hotels at the forefront, began on June 25, and will run until October 31, 2021.
Local service providers are invited to submit their specials for inclusion in the BTMI’s marketing efforts. These specials will be prominently featured in the BTMI’s digital advertising this summer, including the dedicated website: www.summersavingsbarbados.com.
