The Barbados National Standards Institution (BNSI) is inviting all businesses to sign on to the BNSI Safe Business Verification Stamp, as a symbol of joining in the fight against COVID-19.

The BNSI Safe Business Verification Stamp, which is affixed prominently in establishments, is an indication that organisations have implemented safe protocols based on international standards and best practices to protect employees and customers from COVID-19.

The stamp also provides a useful method of rebuilding business activity and increasing revenues, which took a significant hit because of the pandemic.

When the Certificate of Verification is awarded, it is valid for one year and during the period, there will be frequent assessments carried out by officials from the BNSI.

Further information on how to obtain the BNSI Safe Business Verification Stamp may be obtained by calling 426-3870, or emailing bnsi.office@barbados.gov.bb.
