The Barbados Vocational Training Board (BVTB), continues its community outreach programme this Saturday, September 26, with a session at National Heroes Square, the City, starting at 10:00 a.m.
The activity, which runs until 3:00 p.m., will see staff of the department on hand to answer any queries about the BVTB’s programmes. Application forms for evening and full-time courses will also be available for persons who wish to register.
Over the past year, the BVTB has organised a number of community outreach sessions where members of staff visit districts across the island to share information about the department and its courses.
The activities are aimed at sensitising young Barbadians about the importance of learning a trade.
