The Barbados Vocational Training Board (BVTB) will be restarting its evening programme from Monday, September 20, at four training centres across the island.

Some 34 courses will be held over a 12-week period at Sayes Court, Christ Church; Six Roads, St. Philip; St. Lukes, St. George; and All Saints, St. Peter. Those persons interested in attending the classes should visit the BVTB’s Culloden Road office any week day between 8:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. to register and pay the course fee.

Courses being offered at the beginning and advanced levels include Cupboard Construction; Drapery & Soft Furnishings; Auto-Mechanics; Cake & Pastry Making; Plumbing; International Cooking; and Nail Technology. Some of the other courses to be taught are: Fashion Accessories; Event Planning & Management; Tiling & Decorative Finishes; Introduction to Computer Maintenance; Catering; and Make-up Artistry.
